Our Construction
Every pair of London Brown shoes is made with intention, skill, and standards that hold up beyond trends.
All of our footwear is produced in-house in Bangkok, where our team oversees each step — from last development to stitching and final finishing. Keeping the process close allows us to maintain consistency, comfort, and proportion in every model we release.
Our constructions range from Blake stitching — lightweight and flexible for everyday wear — to fully hand-welted builds. In our hand-welted models, the welt is stitched by hand to the upper, and the outsole is stitched again by hand to the welt. It is a method that takes more time, but rewards the wearer with structure, durability, and the ability to age with character.
We work with carefully selected smooth calfskin, supple goat suede, and other premium leathers suited to both tropical wear and long-term use. For select models, we also offer elevated leather options sourced from renowned international tanneries.
Focusing on doing what we do well — we're creating stylish, well-constructed shoes that feel relevant today and remain dependable tomorrow.
Our Beginning
London Brown was founded in 2010 in the heart of Bangkok, born from the vision of Oki Tatsura — a man drawn to the elegance of classic leather footwear and the cultural weight it carried.
The name reflects that early admiration for British style — not as imitation, but as inspiration. What began as a pursuit of timeless dress shoes gradually evolved into something more personal: a house that interprets classic codes through a contemporary lens.
For over a decade, our store at Siam Square — one of Bangkok’s most dynamic fashion districts — has been home to that evolution. From traditional lace-ups to modern loafers, boots, and casual silhouettes, London Brown has grown alongside its wearers.
We remain rooted in the idea that style should endure beyond seasons. Not rigid. Not nostalgic. But continuously relevant and move forward without losing the codes that made us.
